Jamie Kyei-Frimpong

She cares for adult patients with a focus on health promotion, disease prevention/management, as well as episodic illnesses. She utilizes a holistic approach with her patients, incorporating preventive health education, positive lifestyle choices, and integrative/functional medicine modalities to enhance the immediate and long-term health of her patients.

Ms. Kyei-Frimpong has extensive training and clinical experience as a family nurse practitioner in various clinical settings throughout New York City. She has practiced in a busy community health center, a prestigious hospital associated outpatient clinic, as well as a nurse practitioner run faculty practice through Columbia University School of Nursing. She has engaged in both clinical and behavioral research endeavors, as well as academic appointments as an Instructor of Nursing at Columbia University School of Nursing. Ms. Kyei-Frimpong received her BSN/MSN degrees from Columbia University School of Nursing, with a minor in HIV/AIDS. She is nationally board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in family health and recognized by the American Academy of HIV Medicine as an HIV Specialist. She is also a member of the Institute of Functional Medicine, where she has been actively working towards certification as a Functional Medicine Practitioner.


Amber Williford

coach health nutrition manhanttan Amber Williford is a Certified Holistic Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She has also received specialized training on gut health, toxicity and detoxification via courses such as Tools For Teaching Toxicity™ and the Dr. Axe Institute of Nutritional Leadership health coaching course.

Amber became passionate about holistic health in her late 20’s when she started experiencing health issues of her own which were the result of having a leaky gut. Over time, she developed food sensitivities to soy, dairy, eggs and many other foods as well as suffered through other digestive issues. When she ate the foods she was sensitive to, she felt bloated all of the time, had no energy, couldn't lose weight, and was constantly fighting food cravings.

She was able to make great improvements with her health by slashing inflammation in her body with eating whole foods, herbal supplementation, and incorporating gut healing practices like homemade bone broth and probiotic-rich foods. Throughout this process she also discovered that she had a passion for cooking and creating delicious soy, dairy and gluten-free recipes which she has enjoyed sharing with friends, family and clients.

Through her training as a health coach and her own personal experiences, she has been able to help clients improve in their own health using many of the same holistic health practices.

Amber’s goal is to show others how fun and easy a healthy lifestyle can be. It’s not all about restriction and deprivation, even with food sensitivities and other health issues; a healthy lifestyle can be an enjoyable and rewarding process. She hopes to be able to share her passion for health and is excited to work with Dr. Pedre, his staff and all of his wonderful patients!
